Rhodri Gomer Davies to guest at Club Dinner
By Bryan Weaver | 05/06/2013
Rhodri Gomer Davies will be the guest of honour at the annual Club dinner on Saturday 8 June.
Rhodri played 19 times for the Drovers during the early 2000s. He was capped from Wales Under 16s to Under 21s and for Wales 7s, and has played professional rugby for a number of teams, including Northampton Saints and the Scarlets and Newport Gwent Dragons regions.
He was forced to retire from playing rugby in 2011 due to injury, but is now seen regularly on S4C as a rugby match commentator.
Rhodri was the main instigator in organising an annual charity bike ride. Notable names such as Richard Parks, Colin Charvis, Iolo Williams and Rhydian Roberts have supported the event and helped to raise more than £80,000 for various charities both in Wales and abroad since it began.
Please contact Gina Deering on 01550-721110 or 07794-488321 to enquire about availability of tickets for the Club dinner, price £15 per head, start time 7pm for 730pm.
