Llandovery’s Lee Rees and Ifan Evans both played big parts in Wales winning the third tier Bowl in last week’s final at the IRB Sevens in Murrayfield. Both Drovers were in the Welsh starting line up against Kenya and were instrumental in setting up tries in the 26-10 win.
Rees’s speed and tricky running, and Evans’s strength and power were key components in both the semi-final win over France 26-12 and the final. Rees got a brace of tries against the French but also covered huge ground in defence to ensure Wales getting to the Bowl final.
