Drovers to play in 'Evolution' 7-a-side touch rugby tournament

The Drovers are entering 2 teams in the 2010 'Evolution' 7-a-side touch rugby tournament in Penybanc near Ammanford this Saturday, 10 July 2010.

Evolution is a gym in Cross Hands that is sponsoring the Drovers this year in the form of free membership at their health club for all players.

16 teams will be competing, being a mixture of local teams and sides from Carmarthen, Swansea and Llandovery, and involving a substantial number of Welsh Premiership Players

The event promises to be great day out for all the family, with lots of entertainment off the pitch including live music, a beer tent and a mini kids’ rugby zone run by the Scarlets.

The tournament kicks off at 10.20 am and will run all day. Admission for adults will be £2 and children under 16 will be free.

This year’s tournament will be supporting the Macmillan Cancer Care Charity.
